"Luxury experience with a beautiful sea view"

Our last lunch in Monemvasia! In a nice balcony with a beautiful sea view. Food very tasty, good quality! The staff was very friendly & the service excellent. They even prepared food for our son, who was sleeping during the lunch & although they don't have the appropriate packages (as they don't deliver of course outside), they found a way, so that our son could enjoy his pasta once he would wake up!
Keep on like that! Businesses like yours bring our tourism one step forward!

"Perfect view, great lunch"

We really enjoyed our lunch on this beautiful balcony. Great value for money lunch choices (dinner menu is more expensive), tasty dishes and good, though a bit slow, service. A good option if you want to try something different than the ordinary greek taverna.

"What a view!"

We only visited Chrisovoulo for breakfast, but we fell in love with it.
The view is magnificent! The sea on one side, the town on the other. The breakfast menu was extensive, everything was tasty and well presented, and it was remarkably cheap as well. The service was attentive and very friendly.
We had just one day and night in Monemvasia, or we would have definitely visited again and again. And next time there, we are going to stay at Moni Emvasis Suites too!

"A breath of Greek freshair"

We visited Monemvasia whilst on a sailing holiday in September, spent 2 weeks sailing so our palates were a little jaded with fairly average Greek food . We found Chrisovoulo by accident, as was not obvious. But what a great place, we sat on the small terrace overlooking the town and the sea. The food is probably best described as modern Greek. Delicious,bags of flavour and would stand up against a big city restaurant. We had a complimentary mastic liquor which was very nice. Wine and choices on menu= excellent. Friendly, discreet service. Couldn't fault anything.
Highly recommended.
There is accommodation as well, would love the opportunity to stay there if we ever returned to the area.

"Gourmet dinner,worth every cent!"

I cannot relate to the few poor ratings for this place, as every single thing was just amazing!
Stunning location on a small cosy balcony, probably the one with the best view/atmosphere as the highest and with fewer tables of Monemvassia.
We wet for our wedding anniversary and they even arranged some fresh roses for is in the table. Service was impeccable, they even took back an appetizer as we did not realize it had an ingredient we did now like and did it again with a smile.
The food was a unique experience, costly but you get what you pay...far better than a taverna, offering variations and special ingredients. Also, portions were really abundant. As an example, the fava was deliciously creamy and coming with big shrimps, the tabbouleh was fresh and very tasty, the best I ever had.
We paid about 100 eur with 3 big appetizers, 1 main (chicken rolls with cheese), 1 orange dessert made on the spot and a bottle of wine. We were full and very delighted.
Highly recommended! Book on advice to get a table on the balcony with good view. Seems nice also in fall/winter as they have a beautiful space also inside.
